Not only does it provide restaurant search and discovery but it also has expanded its horizon to include transactions like online ordering, table reservations, and point-of-sale system making sure that the connection between businesses and their customers always stay intact.

Since the time Zomato launched, it has revolutionized; the restaurant industry. As of now it covers over 3 lakh restaurants in about 19 countries.

Ola Cabs:

Again a business initiated by two Indians, Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati in the year 2010, Ola is another successful startup. It is India’s one of the most popular mobile app for transportation. Taking in consideration the local dynamics, Ola aims at finding solutions according to the Indian market only. Like launching e-rikshaws, auto-rickshaws and Ola Micro along with options like Ola Share and Shuttle to curb pollution is one of the few utilities that Ola has come up with. Oyo Rooms:

India’s largest branded network of hotels, Oyo Rooms was founded by Ritesh Aggarwal, who dropped out of his college to launch his startup in the year 2012. Initially called as Oravel Stays Pvt. Ltd., the motive was to enable listing and booking of budget accommodation which further made him realize that the budget hospitality sector lacked predictability. And that is when he shifted his goal to OYO rooms in the year 2013 to offer affordable and standardized accommodation. It currently operates in India and Malaysia including all the major cities, leisure destinations, regional hubs and pilgrimage towns as well.


One of India’s first and the largest managed marketplace, ShopClues was founded in the year 2011 by Radhika Agarwal. It started with five crore listed products and five lakhs plus merchants with a sole purpose of providing the best online shopping experience to its customers. Starting from low price to fast delivery to a variety of collection to an easy interface, a customer is bound to have a seamless experience.


With the sole aim of making bus ticket booking easier for the common man, redBus is now India’s largest online bus ticketing website with selling about eight thousand plus tickets on a daily basis. They are known for providing over sixty seven thousand plus live routes all across India. It has also been recognized as an innovative organization that revolutionized the bus travel industry.
